In addition to weekly private lessons, students enjoy the additional option to join a monthly group technique class which provides in-depth focus on specific topics such as rhythm, vibrato, and embouchure.

Sarah Carrier is a sought-after flute instructor and chamber music coach with over 20 years of teaching experience. In addition to maintaining her private studio, she has taught music courses at St. Joseph’s University and the University of Oregon.
Additionally, she has given masterclasses, workshops, and instrument demonstrations across the country at institutions such as New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers Program, Juilliard, California State University Long Beach, William Paterson University, Vermont Youth Orchestra, Adelphi University, and St. Joseph’s University.
She offers flute lessons, masterclasses, and workshops to students of all ages and levels.
FLUTE+ Webinar Series
Adult students of all levels have the option of joining the FLUTE+ Webinar Series. Explore numerous topics in flute playing such as vibrato, intonation, and embouchure through this course which you can attend live or at your own pace.
